Easy Yummy Pancakes

Pancakes are my favorite breakfast in the whole world. It’s for me the best way to start the day because you can top it with pretty much everything you want. It really depends on you. Today, I decided to recreate my favorite recipe by Jamie Oliver. Gosh you must visit his website and learn more about his recipes because I love them. I turned this recipe to be for 1 person so about 3 pancakes because it’s how many I eat. I added my little touch of greed and I promise it makes a difference ! Hope you’ll like it and if you have any suggestions, feel free to comment.

1 person | Preparation : 5 min | Bake : 10 min

  •  2 eggs
  • 85g of flour
  • 100ml of milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • Cinnamon
  • Salt
  • Cacao and hazelnut spread

  1. Separate egg whites and yolks in two different bowls
  2. Stir egg yolks with flour, milk, baking powder and a pinch of cinnamon. Make sure to SLOWLY add the flour to avoid lumps
  3. Beat egg whites until stiff with the help of an electric whisk (or hand mixer)
  4.  Add it to the batter
  5. On low/medium heat, cook the pancake until there are bubbles and then flip. I have a pan that doesn’t stick but if yours do, make sure to heat the pan with a knob of butter
  6. For extra taste, I wanted to try some Pinterest ideas so I added a teaspoon of hazelnut and cacao spread in the middle and covered it with a little bit more batter
  7. Slide a banana and serve with the toppings of your choice
